Introduction
Tearing a piece of the earth into the sky, this survival base is built on a levitating island of dirt and stone, featuring a dark Gothic Cherry manor overlooking the world below.
What This Idea Means
This is the ultimate secure base. Hostile mobs (except Phantoms) cannot reach you. It relies on elytra flight or a secure waterfall elevator for access, ensuring absolute peace while crafting.
Needs to Make That Thing
- Island: Dirt, Stone, Cherry Leaves, Vines.
- Manor: Polished Deepslate, Cherry Planks, Dark Oak Stairs.
- Access: Water Bucket, Scaffolding, Elytra.
How to Make It
- Build a massive pillar of scaffolding up to Y-level 150.
- Construct a floating platform out of Stone and Dirt, making the bottom look rugged and torn.
- Plant Cherry Saplings on the island to generate custom trees.
- Build a tall, pointed Gothic manor using Deepslate framing and Cherry Wood walls.
- Drape Vines and Cherry Leaves off the bottom of the floating island to blend it into the sky.
Tips & Variations
- Phantom Roof: Because floating islands are prone to Phantom attacks, ensure your roof is entirely solid, and use glass windows rather than open archways.
- Slime Block Bouncers: Hide slime blocks at the bottom of the world below your island for a fast, fun way to drop down safely.
