Introduction
A highly opulent survival base that screams royalty. This Gothic pavilion combines the dark, imposing nature of Blackstone with bright Gold blocks and soft Cherry wood for a king-tier survival keep.
What This Idea Means
This is a flex base. It uses expensive, hard-to-gather materials (Gold) to create a luxurious contrast against dark stone and pink wood, resulting in an elegant, high-Gothic sanctuary.
Needs to Make That Thing
- Wealth: Gold Blocks, Raw Gold Blocks, Gold Pressure Plates.
- Structure: Polished Blackstone, Cherry Planks.
- Decor: Yellow Carpets, Lanterns.
How to Make It
- Construct an octagonal foundation using Polished Blackstone.
- Build soaring, open-air Gothic arches around the perimeter using Blackstone Stairs.
- Fill the interior walls with Cherry Planks, leaving the outer stone arches exposed.
- Line the roof ridges and window sills with Gold Blocks.
- Place Gold Pressure Plates on top of Blackstone pillars to act as ornate structural caps.
Tips & Variations
- Piglin Safe: If you build this in or near the Nether, incorporating Gold blocks into your base design is highly thematic.
