13. The Pointed Arch Courtyard Villa
Introduction
A sprawling, multi-building survival compound enclosed by a fortified wall. The villa centers around an open-air cherry blossom courtyard, ringed by dark Gothic archways.
What This Idea Means
Instead of a single tower, this is a horizontal base. It is designed to house multiple players, separating storage, smelting, and sleeping into different wings connected by covered, arched walkways.
Needs to Make That Thing
- Walkways: Deepslate Bricks, Cobblestone Walls.
- Living Wings: Cherry Planks, Cherry Doors, Stripped Cherry Wood.
- Courtyard: Grass, Cherry Saplings, Pink Petals, Water.
How to Make It
- Outline a large 30×30 central courtyard area.
- Build covered, open-air cloisters (walkways) around the courtyard edge using Deepslate pointed arches.
- Construct 3 to 4 small Cherry wood buildings branching off the cloisters for your survival workstations.
- Plant a massive, custom Cherry Tree in the absolute center of the courtyard.
- Fortify the outer perimeter of the compound with a high Deepslate wall.
Tips & Variations
- Central Fountain: Build a Gothic water fountain at the base of the central Cherry tree to serve as an infinite water source for brewing and farming.
- Safe Zone: Because the courtyard is enclosed and well-lit by lanterns hanging from the arches, it is entirely mob-proof, allowing safe nighttime harvesting.
