4. The Crimson Rose Conservatory Abyss
Introduction
An endless, enclosed subterranean biome housed within giant gothic glass domes deep underground, where towering giant cherry trees and blood-red giant roses grow inside dark deepslate cathedral conservatories.
What This Idea Means
This concept combines subterranean dark fantasy with lush, oversized floral horticulture. It captures the atmosphere of an underground royal conservatory preserved deep beneath a ruined world.
Needs to Make That Thing
- Palette: Deepslate Bricks, Pink Stained Glass, Crimson Stem, Cherry Leaves, Moss Blocks.
- Foliage: Shroomlights, Spore Blossoms, Mangrove Roots, Pink Petals.
How to Make It
- Excavate a massive subterranean cavern (at least 40 blocks tall) with deepslate stone walls.
- Construct high pointed glass vault roofs using Magenta and Pink Stained Glass framed by Deepslate arches.
- Build massive custom giant rose plants and giant cherry blossom trees using Crimson Hyphae and Cherry Leaves.
- Weave small gothic living quarters, alchemy alcoves, and library lofts directly into the branches of the giant roses.
- Cover the cavern floor with thick Moss Blocks, Spore Blossoms, and shallow glowing water pools.
Tips & Variations
- Particle Rain: Hang Spore Blossoms behind glass roof arches so green and pink particles drift continuously down through interior room airspace.
- Lit Plant Stems: Hide Shroomlights inside giant flower stems to make the oversized flora glow softly in the dark cavern.
