11. Dedicated Helmet and Protection Station
Safety gear is non-negotiable, but helmets, knee pads, elbow guards, and chest protectors are notoriously awkward to store. Create a dedicated safety gear station using heavy-duty wall hooks and open cubbies. Hanging helmets by their chin straps keeps them well-ventilated, allowing sweat to dry quickly and preventing mold or odors from building up. Below the helmet hooks, install open wire baskets for pads and guards so that they can air out properly after an intense afternoon of skating, biking, or playing football.
